The name “Kantabile“ was derived from the musical expression cantabile. It is a directive for singers to perform a passage flowingly and melodiously. Cantabile is a concept related to the cantando style of singing whereby there is flexibility within a measured tempo. Measuredness and flexibility sound like a dichotomy; but in reality, they complement one another. It is actually the forethought of our measures that enable our guests’ flexibility and freedom.
The Kantabile tempo guides the sentiment that once guests have stepped foot at our camps, there is a certain slow-down in pace, and that there is a feeling of legato, connectedness, that unites the different elements of what a luxurious stay should comprise: exquisite furnishing & décor, exceptional food and service, the feeling of oneness with nature, and, of course, genuine hospitality.
